A change has taken place with the latest version of dA that I'm afraid dampens my spirit a little bit. I heard through the grapevine that the Stock Categories now include a little blurb indicating that images have been entered into the Public Domain. Perhaps it's nit-picky, but I don't want my images entered into the public domain. The stock images I place on dA are for use by other deviants only, and are only for use onsite unless I give specific permission (in advance, in writing) for it to be used offsite. I enjoy creating stock, and seeing what people do with my stock, but I'm afraid I dislike the idea of having my say in how and where my images are used.

As such, I will no longer be uploading new stock until such time as deviantART's policy regarding stock changes. Though it pains me to do this, especially since I finally have a new set ready to post, I just can't abide by the possibility that the stock I work so hard on can be abused, and I'll have no say in the matter. For now, I'll keep the stock I already have submitted up and open for use as per my rules indicate, and hopefully people will be good enough to follow those rules. However, if that changes and I begin to see abuse of my stock, I will remove all of it, so please, be respectful. Also, if you've enjoyed using my stock, please send a note to the dA staff letting them know about the issues their blurb have created, so that hopefully I can start stocking again soon.

Use within the deviantART community
Use of my stock within deviantART is free!
Stock is not for use as is unless otherwise specified. I provide it for photomanipulators and for use as reference.
Use of stock for preview images in poetry and prose is A-ok!
Please send me a note or leave a comment with a link to the piece you've created when you use my stock. I always love to see.
My stock is NOT to be redistributed. This mean that you may not post it as is, and you may not use it to create another stock piece. Thank you very much for your understanding in this matter. If you have questions, please note me.

Regarding Prints: I've gotten tired of sending e-mails to Print Approval, so I'm putting this here now to say that any pieces created using my stock have my approval for prints. Happy Printing.

Use outside the deviantART community
My stock is not for free use outside of the deviantART community. If you would like to use an image for photomanipulation or as-is offsite, please send me an e-mail at Melissa@mkadams.com or send me a note through this site. Off-site use may be subject to a usage fee.
Use of my stock for reference is always okay! Please send me an e-mail or a note with a link to the piece you've created (if posted online) so I can see.

My apologies, but I will not be accepting any requests for stock at this time. Unfortunately, my time is rather limited due to other commitments. I hope to be able to provide this service again in the future when/if my schedule is more open.

Kyndelfire-Stock is Michi Adams. I'm a recent college graduate with a BA in Literature, and currently juggling a job at a coffee shop, a part-time coaching position, and some freelance photography and graphic design work. I have no idea what I truly want to do with the rest of my life, but that's just fine with me. I try to take it one day at a time.
